Our exchange backup keeps failing randomly with the following error messages, it seems to only be on the c drive as the other drive, info store and shadow copy components backup fine and are verified:

We have reinstalled the remote agent on to this machine very recently to make sure it is nothing to do with that. Also, we have looked at the job settings (this job only backups the exchange server), the aofo option is not chosen. Additionally, we tested out the logon account against the exchange server and this passed. We did notice that in the job logs it says that the agent is not used on c drive but it is on the others, is this correct? The other things we have done is rebuild the rsm database because that was reporting an error, erased the data on the tapes before running the job and also tried new tapes. When watching the job run, it goes as far as the verifying stage then right at the end of this it fails.
