get error a0008486 after 10 hours instead of a beautiful backup

Sometimes the full backup is done in about 3 hours, and sometimes I get no backup but only:
error a0008486 after 10 hours.
Do you have an idea where it comes from ?
A backup software is done to backup and not to do nothing but mentioning an error !!!

Now all the available patch and sp2 of the 9.1 version has been installed. I will see if it comes again...

Hi,

Is this the exact error message that you are getting after the backups "a0008486 - media operation terminated by the user".

If yes, please go to the job propoerties and deselect the option 'Enable automatic cancellation' under schedule.

Re run the job and check out the results.

If no, I would like to know the exact error message that you are getting along with the error code.
