help on backup exec 10d

Hi guys,

Was wondering if i can use a external hard drive as a backup using backup exec 10d?

It's a cheaper solution rather than getting a new tape drive, scsi card & the tapes.

Probably 2 external drive, 1 to backup on the current day & another to be kept as a disaster recovery.

So on the next day, the used drive wil be swapped with another drive which was kept as disaster recovery drive.

Which means both the drives will be swapped everyday.

Certainly - B2D was introduced with v8.6 and has been included ever since. 

You'll need to pause/unpause the B2D folders when swapping disks, and will need to reserve one drive letter for each disk, and allways use the same letter for each.
