remote agent licensing

I have BE 10.0, I was able to push out the remote agent to a local server but when I tried to set up a backup job the server is greyed out.

I tried to install the license on the BE server and got the error 'that s/n is already being used'. I only have one serial number (3 sticker with the same number).

If you go into the GUI, does the RAWS serial show as being installed?

Is the BackupExec service running on the second server?

can yo ping both ways by name and IP?

In order to protect remote server, either you have to push install or locally install remote agent.Please refer to the technotes given below :

In order to protect one more remote server,you need to have one more license. We would also like to know your environment.

Please click on Help in Backup Exec GUI>About backup exec>License Information>Under option>Remote Agent for Windows Server is listed?

Please verify on the remote server from windows services applet whether Remote Agent for Windows Server Service is running ?

Can you please tell us the exact error message and the steps that you are performing while installing remote agent and taking backup.
