clarification about product

I am looking for a new symantec av /antipsam product. i need a calrification for the following points.

If i am going to buy symc protection suite enterprise edition 4.0 per user bndl multi lic gov band a  essential 36 months and symantec end point protection 12.1 per user bndl std lic gov band  a essential  36 months

whether the license eligible for 3 years for downloading antivirus definitions , patches ,upgrade and symantec support etc

or i need to renewal after 1 year of the purchase  for the above requirement

I believe that during the 36 months validity period of the product, you can get the software updates and also upgrades, including the Support Contract to diagnose and log a support call with Symantec.

But when the period has ended, you can only download the AV definition only.
