Roseville team hosts annual Chili Cook-Off

For over 10 years, the Veritas Roseville branch has gathered for a friendly, mid-winter Chili Cook-Off. On February 27, the tradition continued with a competition highlighting three different categories: Traditional, Vegetarian, and Alternative.

Members of #TeamVtas test the wide range of chilis crafted by colleagues for the competition.Contestants signed-up for one of the three categories and tasters were given three tickets to vote for their favorite chefs. The winner with the most tickets in each category had their name added to the coveted Veritas Chili Trophies! 

To expand on the fun, five years ago a winter medallion hunt tradition was added to the festivities. Individuals or teams have the opportunity to solve clues at the chili cook-off to win the prize. 

This year's winners included:

Traditional Chili Champion - Kevin Bieker (runner up, Harry Blanek)

Vegetarian Chili Champion - Janelle Green (runner up, Scott Forbes) 

Alternative Chili Champion - Greg Kempenich (runner up, Vandana Nyalpelli)
