FT media server hardware and OS patitioning best practise

Hi,

I want to implement Fibre transport media server in my environment.  I will have dedicated one server to carry FTMS role.  May I know what is the best practise on the linux partition to fit FT media server?

FT media server simply does what it says - it passes data from client directly to FC HBA on the media server and from there to SAN attached storage unit.
So, I'm battling to understand what you mean with this question:
"May I know what is the best practise on the linux partition to fit FT media server? "
