How to restrict a backup using a tape drive which is dedicated to NDMP backups

I have rman default application backup which runs for approx 20 hours.And there are 4 tape drives which are dedicated to NDMP backups.And the rman backup is hitting one of these 4 NDMP dedicated drives and few streams are failing as there is a hard ware issue with tape drive. please help me how to restrict the backups from not yusing these ndmp dedicated drives.

Zone the 4 tape drives to NDMP host only and remove from shared config.

You can change zoning or you can remove paths to those drive via media-servers using tpconfig but correct zoning is much better.
