Hi,
we have an Oracle Windows Client with DB size about 1,8 TB, 12.1.0 version, and configured with intelligent policy.
The user/pwd are correct and db is saw by backup server, but if we try backup, it complete some jobs but remain in hang with other and not fail, so we not receive alarm. If we do backup via script, it's ok. Channel allocate are 10, fileperset 1. Backup server with NB 10.0.1 and identical version for media and client.
Please someone may help?
Thanks and Regards

enable logs windows oracle client
at <install_path>\veritas\netbackup\logs\bphdb
with verbose 5
and share the job details
and bphdb logs

I had a similar case last week.
A backup possess was stack and leave the oracle files in backup state.
check the detailed status of the parent job for the following.
Jul 16, 2023 4:11:00 PM - Info bphdb (pid=9688) INF - allocated channel: ch00
Jul 16, 2023 4:11:00 PM - Info bphdb (pid=9688) INF - channel ch00: SID=267 device type=SBT_TAPE

If you have the same problem you have to kill netbackup processes and then alter the database to no backup mode.
EDIT: And now I saw that the original post is 2 weeks old......

Hi,
thanks for support.
I set verbosity level to 5. Attached dbclient log, bphdb log is small.
I tested full backup from 07/24/2023 10:24 and stopped on 07/25/2023 10.15 because in hang and not timeout.
Thanks and Regards
