RMAN backup failed with error

Hi All,

RMAN backup failing with error code 84.

 - Not all the time, only when weekly full backup is happening. 

- Only for few streems not all the streems.

- some time with error code 84 and some time 87.

Please find the logs attached and let me know why is it happening.

Looks like there is timeout... 

2060019 error occurred on network socket - taken from here

I would have changed the media server time out setting and maybe also client to 3600... If it will not help, decerease number of streams - by half.

You need bptm log on the media server as it is bptm that reported the error.
Level 3 should be fine.

Hi,

Tell us more about you environment...What is your NBU version from Master/Media and client. You said this error does not happen all the time only with full backups..Is your media server a netbackup appliance? Or Puredisk?
