Veritas Information Professional (VIP) Award Program Overview
The Veritas Information Professional (VIP) Award provides a unique opportunity to recognize, thank, and enable individuals who make outstanding contributions to the Veritas communities in which they participate. In accepting the VIP Award, candidates agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Maintain an active profile and participate in the VOX community
- Abide by the VOX community terms and conditions
- Participate in VIP Program year activities
VIP Award Box
To thank awardees for contributions made over the past year, VIPs will receive an award, including a welcome letter, personalized award crystal, and VIP thank you gift.
VIP Program Year Activities
All VIPs are invited to participate in activities throughout the program year as part of their award. Examples of these activities include but are not limited to:
- Access to the private VIP discussion board within the VOX community
- Access to a private, exclusive idea exchange between VIPs and our product teams
- Recognition as a VIP Awardee on VOX
- Moderator status on VOX
- Special access to local Veritas events when available
- Customer Partner Engagement Program (CPEP) invitation
- Opportunity to speak at Veritas events, or to lead a technical discussion/workshop at a Veritas local events
- Invitations to exclusive VIP private events
- Voucher for one Veritas Certification ($225 USD value)
VIP Nominations
Candidates for the VIP program can be nominated anytime by Veritas employees or existing VIPs. For nominations please contact vipawardprogram@veritas.com. Recipients of the award will be granted access to program benefits for their respective award period. All existing VIPs will automatically receive nominations for future program years and will be evaluated for award consideration based on their previous year’s contributions.
Program Termination
The VIP Award Program can remove active VIPs for violation of the terms and conditions at any time. Notifications for VIP Award Program removal will be communicated via email. Active VIPs can request to be removed from the program, should they desire, by sending an email to vipawardprogram@veritas.com. Upon program removal, VIP Awardees will no longer have access to program year benefits. The VIP Award Box does not need to be returned in the event of program termination.
