I took a look at the Desktop Policies and see that on the Vault Cache tab, "Make Vault Cache available for users" is checked, and I've set it to allow users to decide. All the Features are checked. On the Advanced tab, all the defaults are checked for the Vault Cache options. Still no options showing in Outlook. I've run the Mailbox Tasks and Synch options. I've reinstalled the desktop software. Still no Offline Vault Options. Enterprise Vault 8.0 Offline Settings Missing in Admin Console We installed the 8.0 client (an upgrade from EV 2007) and didn't find the Offline Vault options in Outlook. So then we checked Site/Policies/Exchage Mailbox/Default Exchange Mailbox Policy dialog. Under the Advanced tab, under "List settings from:" there is no option for Offline Vault, only an option for Archiving General. What am I missing in this scenario? Thanks for any help! New EV VersionAt a trade show a few months ago, I was told there would be a new version (7) of EV coming out. One of the main new features was to be the integration of many of the command-line tools in Policy Manager into the GUI. Has anyone heard anything about it? I had heard it was a Q1 planned release.Re: Windows Server 2003 R2 cert?I need an answer to this question, too. Where can I find the matrix? Is EV 6.0 SP2 certified for Windows 2003 R2? It is currently on a Windows 2003 SP1 server.Re: PST LocatorThis is a real shortcoming of the management console. Hopefully some new version will allow this very basic task.Re: Access Denied to Usage ReportsOne caveat - If you disable Windows Intgerated Authentication here, your users will be asked to log in every time they open Outlook as the EV Client checks in with the server.Cannot Create New Archive to Replace Deleted ArchiveWe have a user whose EV shortcuts never appeared and whose mailbox items were never deleted and replaced by shortcuts. We tried re-enabling the archive but that did nothing. So we deleted the archive and now want to start over again with that same user. However, the user is no longer appearing in the list of users to be EV enabled. Is there a delay in this user reappearing, is there a registry setting that must be changed, or can the user never be archived again?Re: Access Denied to Usage ReportsThat did the trick! Thanks!Access Denied to Usage ReportsI have logged in to EV (6 SP2) with the EV service account. I selected Vault Store Usage. When the report is done, I see the words "Access Denied" where the usage report information should be. What higher access is it looking for other than the EV Service Account? I get the same result when I go to http:// /EnterpriseVault/usage.asp. Re: EVPM DocumentationThanks to both of you for your suggestions. I didn't realize the utilities.pdf was only included in the SP2 version.
