Could not connect to the Enterprise Vault Directory despite running services
Could someone help me out here?
I needed a restore of a specif mail from 2 years ago. The mailbox has allready been deleted from the archive however. We're using Enterprise Vault 6.
I cloned our current enterprise vault and domain controller in an internal network. We also had a seperate SQL server. I installed SQL server on the Vault server and succesfully restored the databases EnterriseVaultDirectory and EVMailboxStore01. It's running and userrole dbo withloginname Domaiin\admin and Domain\VaultServacc has the dbo role. On evmailboxstore01 is dbo with loginname domain\vaultservacc also dbo. ALL de vaultservices are running.
However. While I try to click the button Change Direcory SQL server I still get Could not connect to the Enterprise Vault Directory on 'Vaultserver01' . Check that 'VAULTSERVER01' is available on the network and that the Enterprise Vault Directory Service is running. message. It is running. So is IIS.

- You don't edit the dsn directly.
Follow the steps in this technote for moving sql for changing the sql servers name.
