I do not know how to fix it. Please help me.
  • What product are you using ?
    As you posted in the Enterprise Vault forum.

    I assume you are using Backup Exec or Netbackup ?

    Please specify you backup and exchange versions.

  • Seeing at logs its NBU (bpbrm) ;-)

    Are you trying to do redirected restore. If so check on alternate server you have specified correct master/media server name to client 's host properties.

    Navigate to registry

    HKLM=>Softwares=Veritas=NetBackup=> Current Version=>Config

    verify the entries of Server with your master/media server

    Also create below file under master/media to allow alternate restoration

    Create No.Restrictions Touch (empty) File on Media Server under /veritas/netbackup/db/altnames

    If altnames directory does not exist, create it

    Make sure Touch file does not have suffix of .txt it should be No.Restrictions only

    To rename extension of file, from windows explorer navigate to Folder Option (Alt+T+O)

    Folder options=> View => Uncheck Hide Extensions for known file types => Apply => Ok

    Make sure you revoke above change after file is created
