0xa00084f8 Remote agent error

I am receiving the following error on an irregular but frequent basis:

0xa00084f8 - The network connection to the Backup Exec Remote Agent has been lost. Please check for network errors.

The server this error occurs on is not backing up any remote data, it is all local. The error always occurs in conjunction with the following error specifying the "Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes" :

A timeout occurred waiting for completion of media server data processing

I have service pack 2 installed already, and the problem persists. I would appreciate any advice that would lead to the resolution of this problem. Thanks.

Hello,

Are you backing up the Exchange mailboxes also from under the "Shadow copy components"? If yes then in order to resolve the error you need to select either from the normal selections or from" Shadow copy components". Do not selcet it from both.


Check if you are getting event ids 7034 or 1000
