I'm trying to restore some files on to a Unix machine (AIX 5.3) which has the Legacy Unix Agent installed. The user doesn't want the files restoring to the same directory they were in originally so I've selected to redirect the files to the directory required. For some reason error 0xe00084af is shown, the job runs for only 1 sec.
I have tried restoring the files to a Windows server which worked fine so know the tape (created with BackupExec 8.6) is working OK. I've also checked the account used to connect to the AIX machine when restoring and this is correct.
I don't think the redirection is the issue. The 11d version of the Unix Agent isn't supported on AIX as far as I know).
Any help appreciated.
