Ran VSSADMIN LIST WRITERSand all writers are ok. Some are stable, some are waiting for competion, but none have last errors.

That's about all I have been able to see from the knowledge base. Can anyone set me on the right track?

Uncheck "User data" from under shadow copy components and apply the patches listed below

In case of any further doubts you may try backing up through Windows native backup utility. Stop all the Backup Exec services and run NTbackup and select shadow copy components, which was selected using Backup Exec. You may verify the result with NT utility and revert back with the result.
