10d, job goes queued to REV (backup to remvbl disk)

Greetings:
I have a server which is the media server and has Iomega REV drive. Works good but once a week or so the jobs to the removable drive go to queued and never leave. I can kill the job but next job will do the same. Starting and stopping service does not help. I checked for any .lck files located in the B2D folder but found none. Media server was not "paused". Only thing that helps is to have client restart server. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.......

Both of these items have already been addressed. It is a removable backup to disk device and there are no .LCK or lock files on the media.

Any other ideas?

UPDATE: I was able to restart the job by deleting the removable backup to disk device, recreate it with another name, modify the job to use the new device (instead of all devices) and start the job. Not a real good work around but interesting.
