11d Install Fails with v-225-230 adn V-225-116 Errors

BE 11d install fails.  Log shows

 - V-225-230: ERROR - SQLExecDirectW() Failed

 - V-225-116: ERROR installing BE services

Installation rolls back, ends and shows "Return value 3"

I have searched high and low and have not bee able to find anything that explains the errors.  Any ideas/suggestions?

Hi Scott,

I would recommend removing the Backup Exec folder located under Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec.

Once that is removed rerun the install from the server itself, with the software in the CDrom or on a physical drive on the server.
