Note to everyone, rev 7170 does NOT support DFSR AT ALL.
Keep this in mind, i upgraded to test support for Sharepoint 2007 and found out the hard way that DFSR is not supported. So I'm waiting for thei mystery patch to arrive before deploying 7170 to backup my sharepoint server....
Yup, we finally did away with NTFRS replication and deployed DFRS this weekend, everything works perfect except BackupExec; Remote Agent crashes during the backup.
Fix is needed ASAP, until then I'll NTBackup the DFRS folders.
Have you tried their solution of stopping the DFS service? If i understand correctly you are using NTbackup for a backup to disk then use BE to throw it onto tape?
