I have been reading these forums for awhile now and i still do not have a solution.  We were running backup exec 10.0 for awhile.   One day our backups just stopped.  Every single one failed.  That was some 20 days ago.

Since then i have reinstalled BE and i am using 10.0 REV 5484 on our Small Business Server.  We only have the one server.

I have tried creating an sis common store.
I tried making BE use the local system admin logon
I have tried using the defualt logon
I am not using AOFO

I have no clue what would make BE just stop working.

I would like to add more info:
It is a Small Business Server 2003 SP1
I can back up the exchange information without a problem

Hello,

I'm having a similar problem but with running remote backups to a Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard.  I'm not running AOFO either.  I'm v.10 on build 5520.  I just installed service pack 3 and then updated the remote agents and I'm back in business.  Give it a shot.

If i am not using remote would updating the remote agents really help?

That was just a reminder to update them  in addition to the server.  If you aren't using them then you're that much better off.  Just run the service pack on the local server and see if that takes care of your problem.
