AOFO Initialization Failure

I am getting this error message twice on the same section of the backup job:

The backup job is for our weekly and daily SQL servers backup.  When the job gets to one SQL server, this error occurs twice after an error occurs in querying the last database on the server (which is another problem that occurs on every server).  We are running SQL 2000 and 2005 on our servers.  We have Windows Server 2003 for the OS on all our servers.  I'm really new to this and so far haven't found anything online that concerns this problem exactly.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  thanks!

Hello Pete,

The first thing, advance Open File Option is not at all recomended for backing up open Databases such as Exchange, SQL...etc. Its ment for OPEN Files and not OPEN Databases.

Seperate the SQL jobs with other server jobs, use AOFO on the other server jobs and do not use AOFO for SQL jobs.

Hello

I receive the following error which is similar:

I'm working with Microsoft on the VSS errors I get, but I continue to receive AOFO errors every day even though the AOFO option is not selected.  I'm only backing up 4 SQL databases and the system state.

Does anyone know why?
