AOFO Lincensing

Hi. I have two servers to be backed up. One of them is the BE and media server, and file server. The other one is a file server only.  I bought one AOFO license. Is this AOFO license enough to use and back up the two servers? Or,  have I to buy another one?

AOFO is licensed per server it is used on.    It may install on multiple servers (I've never tried), but you would be outside of the licensing policy

I'm using the AOFO and it seems that the licensed agent can be deployed on any number of servers (just make sure you turn on the option in the backup job!).  The license itself is only installable to one BE server as far as I know.

Correct, the serial itself is only installed on the media server.  You can locally install the AOFO code on as many machines as you wish, but don't let an Auditor catch you doing it.

Veritas and now Symantec are very clear that AOFO (just like all the other agents, RAWS, SQL, Exchange, etc) is one serial per server protected.
