Symantec has announced End of Life (EOL) for Backup Exec for NetWare effective Nov. 3, 2008. This EOL applies to Backup Exec for NetWare 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2. For customers who are currently using Backup Exec for NetWare to protect their environment, Symantec will offer a transition to the Backup Exec for Windows product line, which can provide the same level of protection and functionality, which includes the Backup Exec for Windows 12.5 Remote Agents and Options for NetWare.
