Access Denied. TO Backup or Restore System State.

Our company has successfully run backups on our Windows 2000 server on a nightly basis. However, backups have ceased to complete successfully.

The job log indicates failure to attach to the System State. We have not changed anything on the server. "Access Denied. To Backup or Restore System State, Administrator privileges are required."

Our operators ARE using the administrator account to run the backups.

Any information would be very helpful. We are using version 8.6.

As a tip I suggest you to try a backup of the system state using ntbackup and check if it works!
