Hello,
Generally, "Access Denied" errors are indication of permissions related
issue. The Backup Exec service account does not have sufficient permissions
to backup the Lotus Domino server.
Refer to the following steps to resolve this issue:
- Make sure that Backup Exec service account is a member of Domain as well
as local administrators group on the respective systems to be backed up.
Remove this account from backup operators group.
- Stop all non essential third party software and Antivirus software
services prior to backup.
If problem still persists, follow the steps below:
1) Close Backup Exec Application.
2) Stop all Backup Exec services.
3) Rename BEWINUI.UNI (Generally located in C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup
Exec\NT\Data)
4) If possible reboot server.
5) Start all Backup Exec Services.
6) Start Backup Exec.
7) It should create new BEWINUI.UNI
8) Try backup and verify the results.
Try taking the accessing the same server through User defined selections.
