Account Logon failed for Buffalo Terastation NAS

Hi,

Please someone help, I have Windows 2008 Server R2 with BE2010 installed.

Connected device is Buffalo Terastation NAS and a Tape Library.

I bascially wanted to backup the created backup from NAS to Tape Library but Account Logon failed for the NAS when I execute the TEST ACCOUNT.

So I cannot backup the content of NAS.

I saw some forums that NAS admin account and BE Account should be the same but I do not think so cause I have other very same Installation in other customer but diff admin password is fine...

Please help.

You need an Ndmp license to backup Nas data to Tape library . You would need to add the shares created on the Nas to the userdefined selection.make sure Ndmp is disabled on the Nas.
