Admin rights for installation

Hi all,

I'm new to Backup Exec and have run into a problem right off the bat. When installing to the server I'm prompted for a domain admin account or similar. I'm far from the level of domain admin and only have OU rights which is where my server is. Is a domain admin account actually needed or is there some other method? I'm not able to get domain admin rights for this.

You need Admin rights on the media server at a minimum, and will need admin rights on all machines to be backed up to get the Admin Shares (C$, D$ etc) and System State

Easiest all around is to grant the Backup Exec Service Account Domain Admin rights
