After Update from 10d getting can't start 11d

Hey

I just downloaded 11d and installed it on my Windows 2003 Server. There was an older trial version of Backup Exec 10d. - The installation was finished without a problem (I did it by remote)

Now, when I try to start Backup Exec 11d I get the message, that not all services has been started. - After trying around, I found the following: The service: Backup Exec Device & Media Service returns an error with the number 259 (Es sind keine Daten mehr verfügbar) translated (There is no more data available)

Any ideas, what I can do!?

Good afternoon,

Firstly, I'd recommend re-running the install locally. I've seen a number of instances where there have been issues over a remote connection. Make sure you're logged in with an account that has local administrator rights, and full NTFS permissions on the server. Make sure AV and any third-party services are stopped during the install, as they may cause a conflict.
