Receiving error when trying to back up agent. Agent installed fine.
License Violation
A Remote Agent for Windows NT/2000 license is required for protecting remote servers with this edition of Backup Exec.
Please contact your vendor for information on protecting remote servers with this edition of Backup Exec.

Check and confirm that you have the license key for the remote agent entered in the serial numbers list on the backup server, which can be found in Tools, Serial Numbers and Installation...

Hi

Please ensure the of following.
1) Ensure Remote Agent is running on remote system.
2) Backup Exec service account should have administrative rights to remote
system.
3) Backup Exec service account should be member of Domain Admin & all
other Admin groups.
4) Backup Exec service account should be member of local Administrator
group of remote system.
5) Backup Exec service account should not be member of Backup operator
group or group other than admin group.

Please remove and try installing the serial number from Tools>Option>Serial number and installation (on Media Server)
