I have a problem with my duplication jobs.
The job is kicked off by my disk to disk backup and functions normally most of the time.
The problem is when the duplication job runs into an error, be it the tape or with the backup set it is to duplicate, it keeps on running.
Only when I manually cancel the job it resets. An normal job I can configure an automatic cancellation time for, but not the duplication as far as I can see.
Is there any way to automaticly cancel an duplication job if it runs past an time threshold or when the next scheduled instance is supposed to start?
This time my duplication job ran for 125 hours before it got noticed. Notifications don't help either because the jobs keeps running.
This is for an customer who has an 1 day a week tech support contract, so suggestions about checking it daily are not usefull.
