Available Logical Space

Jessica_Plunket
Not applicable
I have 10 Netware 6.5 servers that were just updated to SP4a & SPNSS4b. Seven of them are running Backup Exec 9.10 revision 1158 and the other three are running the remote agent. The 7 with be are all experiencing memory errors. The Available Logical Space slowly drops all of the way down. The jsock6x.nlm is hogging all of the memory for some reason. I was wondering if anyone else is having a problem with this or if anyone had any ideas? Thanks in advance - Jessica

Hi Jessica,
I'm having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution to this issue?

Thanks,

What's the date/version for jsock6x.nlm? To check this, type the following at the server console:

MODULES JSOCK6X

Also, you might want to try editing sys:\system\bestart.ncf and remove the '-tj' switch (this loads the java support) and reloading BE. The downside is that you cannot connect using the java admin console once you remove this switch.
