BE 2010 and Exchange 2010 UR 2 = Error e0001200

Hi Community,

i've started testing Backup Exec 2010 in a Exchange 2010 environment. After applying Update Rollup 2, my Backup Jobs fail with error code e0001200.

All Update are applied... EX runs on 2008 R2 64 Bit, BE on 2008 64 Bit. Dedup is also in use and works pretty good. Exchange 2007 SP2 works as expceted...

Do you have any suggestions?

All Agents with GRT (Active Directory, EX 2007 and EX 2010) are affected by error e0001200. If I backup to a "normal NTFS" Backup to Disk folder, everything works.

Is the BE deduplication option incompatible to GRT?

Are you running the same version of the Exchange Management tools on the media server and the Exchange server?  If you applied update 2 to the Exchange server, you'll need to apply it to the media server as well.
