BE Server takes waaaayyy too much space

I have a BE server which is approching critical free space on main partition.

Is it ok to delete some catalog in the be\catalog directory.
I assume that by doing so I will only lose the catalog which will make it slower to restore some backup, because I will have to regenerate those catalog before restoring from the backups?

You can delete older catalogs, but as you say, you will need to re-catalog any media that you want to restore from.

Or

You can move the \Catalogs folder to a drive that has plenty of free space, and keep as many as you like. See http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/264680.htm
