We run replication exec to pull data centrally, backup locally. When local IT in the field need to restore, it's done to a network share (UNC). If the compression is turned on at the Cisco switch level, the restores fail. If our WAN group turns off compression, the restore is successful. Is there something that can be configured (either in BE or Cisco that would allow the compression and still perform restores?
