BE9.1 Notifications on non Exchange server

Hi,

I have BE9.1 running on Windows Server 2003 - domain2.com

I have an Exchange server in domain2.com and want to be able to use this server to relay the BE Notifications from the server in domain1.com

What settings do I have to make on each server? I have set up all the BE server Notifications settings OK.

But I am unsure of the relay settings on the Exchange server in domain2. I have added the IP of the BE server to the Relay Access on the domain2 Exchange server - both domains are linked by VPN.

Can you help?

Thanks!

Sorry - the BE server is in DOMAIN1 and the Exchange server is in DOMAIN2

Hi,

I stated in my original post that all that was already set up - the problem I had was with setting the relay on the exchange server in the separate domain to where the BE server exists.

I have now resolved this issue from www.tek-tips.com -
