BEUTILITY to migrate from 10.0 (5520) w2k to 10d w2k3

Hi,
I've managed to use the utility to seemingly grab all the media server config, however when I try to apply it to my new server nothing is copied.  I don't get any errors, but no schedules, policies, logs nor media sets are copied over. 
Am I doing something wrong?
Is this utility only compatible with exactly the same versions of BE?
I'm wanting to migrate from Windows 2000 BE version 10.0 rev 5520 to a Windows 2003 BE version 10d.

We've seen reports of this before.

IIRC, the response from Veritas was (as long as you are using MSDE, not MSSQL) to shut down the services on the old server, copy the entire ..\BackupExec\NT directory, and any catalog folders to the new server,  then install the new build on top of the copied data.

Should pickup all your local settings, as well as catalogs and job logs.
