BEWS 2010 - RDX Loading Media @ 33Gb ???

Good day,

Using BE 2010 r2 V 13w/ RDX it backs-up but stops at 33gb of data, Job monitor states - Loading Media. RDX drive is 1TB.

 

Alert:

Please insert overwritable media into the backup-to-disk device.

Overwritable media includes scratch, blank, and recyclable media. Please note that depending on the current Media Overwrite Protection setting, imported and allocated media may be overwritable as well. Consult the online help for more information on overwritable media.

Respond Yes to acknowledge.
Respond No to retry the operation.
Respond Cancel to cancel the operation.

The disk in the drive is full.  You need to eject it and put in an overwritable disk.

It will be good if you First of all upgrade BE to 2010 r3 from R2 it would be free upgrade keeping all your setting and configuration same

Once upgraded to BE 2010 r3 install updates using live updates and install sp2 and other updates

Then upgrade your remote agent on remote server so that they will be on same level

Finally in tools-option -media management-ensure you have selected partial and overwrite recyclable media check box is selected
