I need to backup SharePoint Services 3.0 (the free version) with Backup Exec 11d. I have installed both products on a Windows 2003 domain environment with latest updates for each product. But everytime I try to select my SharePoint server for backup it complaints about authentication. I normally get this message: "None of the web servers for the specified server farm could be accessed". There is not much about this error on the web that I can find. One mentions a problem with NDMP ports. Which I have already tried but didn't seem to help.
It would appear to be some sort of authentication problem with Backup Exec accessing the Sharepoint Services data. I am currently logging into Backup Exec with my domain admins account so can't understand why this won't work!
Any help on this will be appeciated. Thanks in advance.
