Backup Agent for use with Windows Server 2008 R2 x64

Where can I get a Backup Agent for use with Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 ?

Stuff we've used so far doesn't seem to want to work ?

What are you using currently ? BE 2010 & above provides full support for Win 2k8 R2, whereas BE 12.5 provided only Remote Agent support.

Copy one of the following sub-folders to the client system the RAWS agent is to be install upon. These sub-folders, by a default install, are located in the C:\program files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Agents sub-directory on the media server.
 

- \RAWS32; Windows 32-bit agent.
 

- \RAWSIA64; Windows 64-bit agent for Itanium processors. (Does not apply to Backup Exec 12.5 and above)
 

- \RAWSx64; Windows 64-bit agent.

We have BE version 11d on our CD, that's all...is this sufficient ? or do we need to upgrade to a newer version ?

BE 11d is not compatible with Windows server 2008 R2. So you can upgrade to BE 2010, which is the latest version and is compatible with Windows server 2008 R2.

Better to Use Backup Exec 2010 R2 

Before that verify all pre-requisites and Compatibility then take decission.
