Backup EXEC Agent For windows

We just purchased BAckup exec V10. enterprise, And Wondering do we realy need agent On each Windows 2003 Server we have or we can just backup the Shares .

Hello,

It seems that you want to install BE v10.0 on the windwos 2003 server and then you want to backup the remote windows 2003 servers.
If so, then you will need to have BE v10.0 license which you will have to install on the Backup Exec media server and the remote agent license to backup the remote windwos 2003 server.You need to purchase a separate remote agent license to backup each remote server.

If you want to backup databases like Exchange or SQL then you will have to purchase the additional licenses for the same.
