Backup Exec 10.1 (5629) problem licensing Remote Agent

Okay, what am I missing here? I've wasted a few hours trying to figure this out.

I am running BE for Windows Server just fine - it's still 10.1 but it does the job well and ver 11 sounded
scary.

I want to use one of our Remote Agent licenses on a new server, also Win 2003.  I can push out the
program and it seems to install okay, but how do I license it?

When I open the license wizard on the CP Server the only place you can enter a license number
won't accept the 23 alpha-numeric license key. It wants 20 numbers.

What am I missing?  Any advice appreciated.

Is this a new install of a serial?

Don't know if this will apply (say v12) but does include a phone number that you can call.  Since the End-of-Life for v10d is 6 June 2009 they should still talk to you    |8^)

or if you are moving the agent from one remote machine to another, just remove it from the old machine and do a local install on the new machine.  The serial is not tied to a specific server.  If you have 10 runing remote agents and 10 serials, you are covered, legally
