Backup Exec 10d and no bytes saved

When i kick off a backup job the job gives the status of running. But if you look at byte count it still says 0. Also if you check the job properties no bytes show being written. Please help...

Is it waitiing for a response of some kind?

Nope no alerts ..I think its loading the job and then the scsi adaptor is hanging up

Hi,

1) are you backing up on tape or on b2d?

2) what data are you backing up?

3) under which a/c the services are running?

4) try creating a new job.
