Remote Agent won't install on Win2K Server

We have a Win2K Server that will not take the install of the remote agent for 11D.
The Win2K SP4Server is up-to-date with all its MS patches and is running Symantec AV version 10.0.2. I did an uninstall of the old 10D agent before attempting the install. I also rebooted after uninstalling the old agent. I copied all the files for the 32bit RANT installation to the server HD before trying the install. (I've learned that this seems to be the best way to get a clean installation. I have used this method for all our other servers also.) The "SetupAA.bat" file runs but doesn't do anything or give any error messages. I also tried running setup from the command line. Nothing seemed to happen...no errors either. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Also verify if port 10,000 is open and listening on the media server as well as on the remote server.
