Backup Exec 10d secedit.sdb skipped

Running on SBS 2003 with Backup Exec SBS version.

Tried option to tick Advanced Open File. It has Microsoft volume Shadow Copy Service as only option since SBS version does not include Veritas AOF. However this causes backup to fail even worse with error 0xe000fec2 - A failure occurred accessing the SnapShot handle.

Can anyone confirm whether these files are important & should be backed up? I have found some indications that they are.

If so how can Backup Exec do it (aside from doing a backup to file with ntbackup which works fine)
thanks

Hello Stuart

If you are able to backup the system state of the server you dont have to worry about the files which are getting skipped during the backup.

Ashutosh
