Backup Exec 11d Auto Loader question

Hello

I am using BE 11d and i have installed our autoloader and have the corect drivers etc and the correct licenses installed to be able to use the autoloader to get backups. 

Unfortuntly we have a tape rotation that we need to follow and at present the software is just picking a random tape to use each night, we have 8 slots in the autoloder and have the tapes Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri1, Fri2, Fri3 and Fri4

And therefore need it to use

mon

tue

wed

thurs

fri1

mon

tues

etc

Is there any way in the "new" software that this can happen???

Gareth,

To do this you will need to configure partitions in the library. One for each slot, then create a job for each of those nights and point the job to that slot.  But also be aware that if the job needs more then 1 tape for the nightly job it will either fail or keep prompting you for more media to be inserted into the library.
