Backup Exec 11d Restore Calendar

I have a client using Backup exec 11d to backup MS exchange, now they calendar restore and i get the following error: The media identifier does not represent a valid medium but I’m able to restore flat files. I have repaired backup exec, deleted and reconfigured the tape library, rebooted the library but the problem persists.

Try initiating the restore from the media instead of setting up a restore job or using the restore wizard...

Its either this issue ~ http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH136064

OR maybe an issue with the hardware...

Regarding the KB, that issue was identified with BE 2010, however it may apply to 11d...would suggest to contact support and confirm pls.
