Backup Exec 11d "Phantom" tape in Library

Greetings,
 
One of my tape libraries, a Dell PV132t, is showing a tape in one of its drives when viewed through Backup Exec.  However, the drive is clear and the tape in question is not in the library's inventory.
 
I am currently running an inventory on the library to see if this clears up the issue, but if anybody has any other causes for this phenomenon or tips to reslove it, I'd be very grateful.

We had this issue recently. I would bet a dollar this is a problem with the the tape libary.
 
1. Does the tape libaryshow up in Device Manager? 
2. How is the tape libary connect to your back up Server?

1. The tape library itself is listed under System Devices, the tape drives are listed individually under Tape drives.
 
2. I believe it connects to the server via RMU and to targets for backup jobs by FC.
