I am trying to restore SQl database from LTO3 media to SQL Server (alternate destination).
Note:
Symantec 10 D agents were installed on this servers before, we changed the agents and server to 12.5 in the DR site. The Backup was taken from the production Site which has BE 10d installed. I am able to see the contents in the media but when i am trying to restore or test the destination server connection settings "BE pops a message no such file or directory exists"
Scenario: The restore is happening on the BE media server (12.5) and a standalone work group but not on the servers which are on the domain.
The production BE 10d BEis in the old domain and the DR (BE 12.5) is in the new domain. There are two domain users one for logging in to BE server and other for connecting remotly.
While running the restore i get an error " Make sure that correct remote agent is running",
Sometimes restore gives authentication error. Will the domains create problem or user.
Please let me know ASAP
