Backup Exec 12.5 to 2010

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if it's possible to upgrade my Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 to Backup Exec 2010.

Hello

Download BE2010 media from www.backupexec.com. Its an ISO of 3GB, extract the ISO. 

Before you proceed with the upgrade process, Stop all the backup exec services and the the SQL Server BKUPEXEC service

Copy the DATA & CATALOGS folder from X:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec folder. Run the browser.exe from the media of BE 2010.

After downloading the BE installation ISO, you either burn it onto a DVD or extract the files within to disk
